I was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana and currently reside in Pearland, Texas with my lovely wife and our three children.

Background
I've worked in the Information Technology field for over twenty years as an application developer and software manager. My technology background has provided me with a solid foundation that has helped me better understand and use the digital cameras, computers and software required to produce quality digital images.

Outlook
The confluence of digital cameras, powerful computers and image manipulation software provides the tools to produce images that just a few years ago would have been extremely time consuming if not impossible to create. I personally feel that taking a photograph with a digital camera is only the first step in a multi-step process for producing digital images. After the image is captured the post processing using software that can be performed on the image to alter it's look is almost limitless.

Over the past several years photography has become a driving passion of mine and has provided me with a conduit that has allowed me to share the beauty I see and share it with veryone. Portrait photography is my favorite form of photography because it challenges me to capture a person's personality in a single image. I also enjoy creating images using the High Dynamic Range method which can be used to produce surreal images with a wide gamut of color and brightness.
